Sustainability Report

The Sustainability Report for Summit Pharmaceuticals Europe S.r.l. is an annual reporting that outlines the company’s values, commitments, and performance in economic, social, and environmental areas. This report serves as a valuable information tool for all stakeholders, marking an important milestone in SPE’s sustainability journey starting in FY22. It helps the Company to be transparent on both positive and negative impacts of their actions on an environmental, societal, and economical level, and set priorities accordingly.

The report covers not only environmental and social topics but also supply chain, human rights and product-related issues. It is based on the material sustainability topics identified through a materiality analysis and follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Standards.

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is an international independent organization that helps businesses, governments, and other organizations understand and communicate their impacts on issues such as climate change, human rights, and corruption. The GRI Standards are the first and most widely adopted global standards for sustainability reporting, providing a common language for organizations to report on their sustainability impacts in a consistent and credible manner.

Therefore, the primary objective of the reporting is to drive concrete actions to new sustainability efforts, building and maintaining trust and reputation with business partners and communities.
